New Year’s Day ~ 2026 Manifesto

It is always a good idea to step back and take stock in where things stand and what better time to do it than now on the first day of the new year. What I know about myself is that a good plan is at the core of most accomplishments. Instead of asking the question “what am I going to do in 2026?” A better question is “Who do I want to be in 2026?’

Another good place to start is by asking the age old question “What am I pretending not to know?” So now on this day, I will do my best to capture answers to both of those questions and describe 2026.

Who do I want to be in 2026?

  • A man who is patient, who moves at a steady pace, does not get overly worked up over the unexpected events of life or circumstances beyond his control.

  • A man who exercises discipline in the areas of life that require it. Consistent ~ Persistent ~ Relentless.

  • A man who is focused on others, investing in the inner circle, providing an example to be respected and emulated.

  • A man who prioritizes health and fitness, who’s outward appearance and attitude reflect the spirit of an adventurer.

  • A man who gives of his time talent and resources.

What am I pretending not to know?

  • Old habits will create old results

  • Breaking agreements with myself comes at a high cost

So what are some steps that I can take today that will move me in the direction of this vision?

  • I believe that I should begin a 100 day reset by launching the tracker, taking some new measurements and really driving toward a goal for being in great shape for the April Scotland Trip.

  • Step 1: Get new measurements

  • Step 2: Reset the 100 Day Tracker

  • Step 3: Restart the Lemon Water / ACV Protocol
